This is a slightly textured Illustration board, and it was mainly used as a painting surface for many illustrators before the computer took over that part of the business.

Now it is used regularly as a mount mixed media surface for creative minds to express and share their ideas. Slightly stiffer than our regular mat board, it is still made and sold by Bainbridge.
